For those of you that don’t know yet, I’m how an undergrad at the lovely OSU pursuing a degree in Food Science and I couldn’t be happier right now. Applied as a transfer student so luckily I was able to avoid all the boring freshman meetings and the like. But since I’ve only got an AAS in Culinary Arts I pretty much have no good transferable credits. Which in laymans terms means that I’ve pretty much got to start from scratch in the core classes. This quarter I’m taking Chemistry 121 and Math 150 Precal. This may be a blessing in disguise though because I haven’t done anything math/science intensive for over two years and this’ll be a nice refresher. My other two classes are sociology which is a humanities requirement and a Food Science Survey class which basically introduces you to the university. Not too bad of a load for my first quarter, but I don’t want to get lax and fall into a slump. So I’m doing my best right now to be on top of things. Anyway that’s the major gist of my classes.
